Gruel Gets a Bad Rap
I'm taking back the word "gruel." Gruel has such negative connotations. It's not fair to gruel. Gruel is a very good food, even if it is associated with poverty. All hail gruel!
Gruel is eated in Spain in many zones. In the past was povery food mostly used people working land in colder zones as breakfast, because is a good energy giving, specially when you add some streaky bacon and spanish chorizo. What kind of flour do you use for gruel?
